Description

The apartment consists of 3 rooms: 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room with kitchenette, bathroom and large balcony. Each room has air conditioning, which guests can control using a panel on the wall. The apartment has a TV with Play channels and free Wi-Fi. The living room has kitchen island with 6 stools. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. We provide a cot with an original mattress (hard mat). We do not provide an additional mattress or dedicated bedding for the cot. Additional bedding is in the single beds.

There are two chairs and a table on the balcony, and the view extends to the interior of the complex (quiet and peaceful). IT IS FORBIDDEN TO ORGANIZE EVENTS IN THE APARTMENT. We offer 1 free parking space in the underground garage, an additional parking space is available for a fee of PLN 100/night.

Location and History

The apartment is located in the historic building of Browar Lubicz. It was built in 1840 as the private residence of the Jenny family. In 1903, it changed its owner and name to Browar Krakowski i Fabryka Przetrów Słodowych J. Gotza. It prospered wonderfully, constantly improved, and passed into the hands of the son.

The brewery operated until World War II, after which it was nationalized. First, it was managed by the Fermentation Industry Board in Zabrze, and in 1968 it was taken over by Okocim. In the 1980s, it produced Krak Pils beer, only one brand was produced – Jasne Mocne. Okocim was taken over by Carlsberg, when beer production in Browar Lubicz ended. However, it remains a recognizable object in Krakow.

In 2014, the construction of the first stage of the Browar Lubicz housing estate was completed. Balmoral Properties has restored historic buildings: the Goetz Palace, the Beer Chamber, the Porter’s Lodge, the former Malt Drying House, the former Malt House, and the Engine House and Boiler House with a chimney. The characteristic elevations of the buildings refer to industrial buildings built in the 19th century.

Lubicz 17A is a great location for those who want to fully enjoy the attractions of Krakow. You can leave your car in a convenient underground garage (the distance from the apartment is comparable to other parking lots near the Market Square) and explore the city on foot. Just 4 minutes separate you from Galeria Krakowska and Planty, and in 10 minutes you can walk to the Main Square.

Tram and bus stops are located just 50 meters from the building.
The Kazimierz district is a 20-minute walk away.
