Description

The apartment consists of 3 rooms: 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room with kitchenette, a bathroom and a large balcony. There is air conditioning in each room, which guests can adjust via a panel on the wall. A TV with Play channels and free Wi-Fi are available in the flat. The living room has a table with 6 chairs. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. We provide a cot with an original mattress (hard mat). We do not provide an extra mattress or dedicated bedding for the cot. Additional bedding is provided in the individual beds. 

Bed configuration:

1 bedroom: double bed (140 x 200cm) + fold-out daybed (80 x 200cm, when unfolded 160 x 200)

2nd bedroom: two single continental beds 90 x 200cm

Living room: single sofa 100×190 + fold-out armchair 83 x 190cm
(I don’t count it as extra sleeping, but it could come in handy)

The balcony has two chairs and a table, and the view is of the interior of the complex (quiet and peaceful). PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE FLAT. We offer 1 free parking space in the underground garage, additional parking space availableat extra cost.

Location and History

The flat is located in the historic building of the Lubicz Brewery. It was built in 1840 as the private residence of the Jenny family. In 1903, it changed its owner and name to Browar Krakowski i Fabryka Przetworów Malowych J. Gotza. It prospered magnificently and, still being improved, passed into the hands of his son.

The brewery worked until World War II, after which it was nationalised. It was first managed by the Fermentation Industry Board in Zabrze, and in 1968 Okocim took it over. In the 1980s it was producing Krak Pils beer, and only one brand, Jasne Mocne, was produced. Okocim was taken over by Carlsberg when beer production at Browar Lubicz ended. However, it remains a recognisable landmark in Kraków.

The construction of the first phase of the Browar Lubicz estate was completed in 2014. Balmoral Properties has restored the historic buildings: the Goetz Palace, the Beer Hauler, the Porter’s Lodge, the former Malt Dryer, the former Malt House, as well as the Engine House and the Boiler House with chimney. The characteristic facades of the buildings are reminiscent of the industrial buildings constructed in the 19th century.

Only 4 minutes separate you from Galeria Krakowska and the Planty, and in 10 minutes you will reach the Main Market Square.
