Location and History

The apartment is located in the historic building of Browar Lubicz, which was erected in 1840 as the private residence of the Jenny family. In 1903, it changed ownership and was renamed Browar Krakowski and Fabryka Przetworów Słodowych J. Gotz.

The brewery flourished and underwent continuous improvements, eventually passing into the hands of the owner’s son. It remained operational until World War II, after which it was nationalized. Initially managed by the Fermentation Industry Board in Zabrze, in 1968, it was acquired by Okocim.

In the 1980s, the brewery produced Krak Pils beer, with a single brand, Jasne Mocne. Later, Okocim was taken over by Carlsberg, signaling the end of beer production at Browar Lubicz. However, the brewery remains a well-known landmark in Krakow.

In 2014, the first stage of the Browar Lubicz estate was completed. Balmoral Properties restored the historic buildings, including the Goetz Palace, Beer Bar, Gatehouse, former Malt Drying House, former Malt House, as well as the Engine Room and Boiler Room with a chimney.

The distinct architectural features of the buildings are reminiscent of industrial structures built in the 19th century.
